Liann Cline is a Brooklyn-based harpist and teacher. Since moving to NYC, she has performed with several orchestra and ensembles, including the UNSRC Symphony Orchestra, Gateway Classical Music Society, Camerata Notturna, the Chelsea Symphony, the Utopia Opera Company, Stony Brook University Orchestra, Wyoming Seminary Civic Theater, and the Orchestra at Shelter Rock. She also performs professionally at musical theatre productions, weddings, funerals, church services, and other special events.
Liann received a Master of Music degree with emphasis in music performance from the Shenandoah Conservatory in May 2015, where she studied with Bridgett Stuckey. In May of 2012, Liann graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, where she studied with Elizabeth Richter and was a recipient of a Young Artist Scholarship. Prior to coming to Shenandoah University, she was a recipient of the Wickersham/Fouse Award for musical promise for using the harp in a therapeutic setting. She attended the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy, where she studied with Joan Raeburn Holland.
